What it is
Sass is a stylesheet language that compiles to CSS. It adds variables, nesting, mixins and modules, so large stylesheets stay organized. Dart Sass is the main implementation, maintained by the Sass team, and the one that gets new features first.
Why it’s here
- Better CSS. Reuse values and patterns instead of repeating them.
- Works with Hugo. Hugo can compile a site’s Sass with Dart Sass.
On CoreDesktop
Dart Sass is installed from pacman and provides the sass command. update keeps it current with the rest of the pacman packages.
