What it is
FluffyChat is a chat app for Matrix, the open messaging standard your Core’s chat server uses. Where Element is built around teams, rooms and spaces, FluffyChat looks and feels like a phone messenger: a list of chats, bubbles, stickers and voice messages. It supports end-to-end encryption and works with any Matrix server.

- A simpler Matrix client. It’s an easy way into Matrix for people who find Element busy.
- Same account, same chats. Sign in with your Core account and your rooms and messages are all there.
On CoreDesktop
CoreDesktop installs FluffyChat as a Flatpak from Flathub. Open it from the app grid and sign in with your Matrix server’s address and your account. update keeps it current along with your other Flatpaks.
