What it is

Logseq is an open-source note-taking app built around an outline. Every note is a list of bullets that you can indent, fold, link and reference from other pages. Each day starts with a journal page, so you can write first and organize later through links and tags. Notes are stored as Markdown or Org files in a folder on your computer.

Why it’s here

  • Write first, file later. The daily journal and links mean you don’t have to decide where a note goes.
  • Local and open. Your notes are plain files, and the app is open source.
  • Tasks in your notes. TODOs and queries collect tasks from across your pages.

On CoreDesktop

CoreDesktop installs Logseq as a Flatpak from Flathub. Open it from the app grid and choose a folder for your notes. update keeps it current along with your other Flatpaks.
