What it is
Sitra is a GNOME app for getting fonts from Google Fonts. You browse and filter the catalog by category, search by name, preview fonts, and install the ones you want on your computer. For web projects it also gives you the code to use a font through a CDN or npm.
Why it’s here
- Fonts for documents and design. Google Fonts’ open-licensed families install in a click.
- Previews that respect privacy. Previews load through the Fontsource CDN rather than Google.
On CoreDesktop
CoreDesktop installs Sitra as a Flatpak from Flathub. Open it from the app grid. update keeps it current along with your other Flatpaks.
