What it is

Trayscale is an unofficial graphical front end for Tailscale on Linux. It shows whether you’re connected, lists the other devices on your network with their addresses, and lets you switch Tailscale on and off and choose an exit node, all without the command line. It can also sit in the system tray.

Why it’s here

  • Tailscale without a terminal. The official Linux client is command-line only.
  • Your devices at a glance. Copy a machine’s address or see who’s online.

On CoreDesktop

Trayscale is installed from Flathub. Open it from the app grid. It needs you to be Tailscale’s operator, which configure tailscale sets up when it joins this computer to your Core’s network.

update keeps Trayscale current along with the rest of the Flatpaks.
